VID Cisco DDR2200 BONDED ADSL2+ Gateway
NOTE: “x” indicates a field that has several variables
6.1 Engineering and Facility Assignment overview
Bonded ADSL2+ requires the assignment of two consecutive (ex. Ports 1 and 2, 3 and 4, etc.) ADSL2+
ports, two fully groomed (no bridge-tap or load coils) office and field pairs, from the serving device to the
customer premise. All bonded ADSL2+ service orders will fail to the local facilities teams (ENG/FAL) via
the ARC assigned key word of \BONDED for manual assignment. The ENG/FAL will perform a loop
make up, review the make up, identify any bridge-tap or load coils present in the loop and issue the
appropriate work activity or ticket to remove all load coils and bridge-taps on the customer’s loops.
Grooming work activity should include all grooming activity from the central office or remote device to the
last MPOE (Minimum Point of Entry)/Demarcation (NID) at the customer location.
6.2 Provisioning responsibilities
Provision the individual DSL ports with the specified speeds and bond the pairs per provisioning M&P.
